Love has no limits, and this is true for our darling couple Stacey and Tyson who met in beautiful Denver, Colorado. Stacey knew Tyson was the one soon after their eyes locked. Without hesitation, Tyson invited Stacey’s mom out for drinks with them on their second date while she was visiting Stacey in Denver. Their love only evolved from there, and they later moved to Georgia to be surrounded by family and friends for their dreamy wedding.
With the sun shining brightly and the bubblegum pink roses in Callanwolde’s garden in full bloom, it was a picture-perfect day for a garden wedding. Guests began to make their way to their seats and were greeted by an order of reception guide decorated with a perfectly tied bow. The arbor was surrounded by greenery, with white gardenias as a centerpiece for the ceremony, setting the tone for a romantic and endearing exchange. The couple said their I do’s and sealed their forever by pouring sand into a wooden love capsule ingrained with a love scripture.
The cocktail hour took place in the front lawn of Callanwolde with an open bar and yummy hor d'oeuvres like beef wellington with Dijon aioli sauce served by Zest. Instead of a traditional guest book, Stacey and Tyson opted for a beautifully crafted dark wooden board with their last name, Blocker, engraved in it for guests to sign. The atrium inside Callanwolde was filled with touches of the bride and groom— picture collages and white cozies with black inscription of their wedding date and a memorable quote: “Today we’re kinda of a big deal.”
While guests were mingling and enjoying cocktail hour, Stacey and Tyson were able to have alone time and bask in their newly wedded bliss. They snuck in sweet kisses and warm hugs while they took bride and groom pictures inside the ballroom and at the Retreat.
The reception started shortly after cocktail hour, and guests entered the fairytale-esque ballroom. A large crystal chandelier that twinkled in the sunlight through the glass window panes was the center piece with dropped white curtains. The tables were draped with white linens, and an elegant bouquet of white, green and pink flowers from Sean O’Keefe events, was the centerpiece surrounded by candles.
The couple danced lovingly inside each other’s arms to Ed Sheeran for their first dance, and Tyson gazed at Stacey as if she was the only one in the room. Next were the father/daughter and mother/son dances. Stacey and her father danced to, “The Way You Look Tonight” by Frank Sinatra and Tyson danced to, “Sunshine” by the Temptations with his mother.
Stacey and Tyson choose to have a buffet for their guests served by Zest. Being that they are both from Atlanta, nothing says the South more than some good ole’ Southern barbecue: beef brisket barbecue pork, grit toppings, a fresh table that included various vegetables and pimento cheese and a large salad bar that welcomed guests in the atrium. Stacey and Tyson were clever to have labels for all the different foods to make the selection easier for their guests.
While friends and family were mingling and finishing their plates, Tyson gave a speech that included calling his wife his best teammate. Stacey and Tyson are very family orientated, and it’s clearly shown by the constant laughs and affection that filled the room throughout the reception.
The dance floor was the place to be as the band, Who Rescued Who, played a variety of songs. Mr. and Mrs. Blocker danced the night away and were sent off by streamers and picked up in a Rolls Royce to be whisked off to their honeymoon.
We are so thankful that Stacey and Tyson allowed us to be apart of their fun, fairytale wedding. We wish them infinite love and happiness.
